Milan Metro M4 line

Img starts monitoring the three metropolitan lines in operation, M1, M2 and M3, during  construction of the new M4 line of Milan. A few days ago, the first RDS (Railway Deformation System) were installed on the tracks of the M1 line, a non-conventional monitoring system for automatic survey of longitudinal deformation of the rail tracks and the twisting of sleepers. The plane-altimetric control of the rail tracks will be performed by automated topographic monitoring. The processed data will be published and shared on the web-gis platform (DDS) developed by Img .
